Nick is a Culinary Farmer with a background in sustainable agriculture education and event programming.

Prior to becoming the Farm Director at Stanly Ranch, he was the Culinary Farmer at Sagra, a hospitality startup that supports regenerative agriculture. By partnering with farmers across the country, Sagra provides guests the opportunity to learn about sustainable farming through overnight stays, educational programming, and exceptional dinner service. He designed and planted the Sagra culinary garden in collaboration with the Crops Director of The Stone Barns Center, Jason Grauer.

Nick co-founded and ran a non-profit organization called Compass Green, which aimed to teach students of all demographics the importance of sustainability within our food system. He renovated an 18 ft box truck into a mobile greenhouse and used it as a demonstration garden and inspirational tool to teach his curriculum. Over the course of two years, he traveled from New York City to California and back, teaching 60,000 students along the way. The mobility of the greenhouse allowed him to bring a school garden to public schools that didn't have the resources for one of their own.
